The Lime Butterfly is a widespread swallowtail butterfly also known as the Lemon Butterfly, or Chequered Swallowtail or Citrus Butterfly , famous for its caterpillars feeding on citrus plants like limes and oranges, with its life cycle including eggs, larvae (caterpillars), pupae, and adults, making it a common sight and subject in Asian orchards, scrubs gardens and other habitat where citrus are planted including villages and bunds and hedges of sudb-urban areas.

Fairly large butterfly, black with irregular yellow spots on forewings; hindwings have black spots lined with blue.

Common all over Seberang Perai.
