Vulnerable

A fairly large white stork with a yellow bill, reddish face and legs, and extensive black on the wings and tail that is only prominent in flight.
It primarily lives in coastal areas, including mangroves, mudflats, and swamps.

It was only recently within the past five to ten years that this Stork have been found in Seberang Perai, presumably spreading form the Matang – Kuala Gula area towards, Sbg Perai Selatan and than onwards towards the Teluk Air Tawar – Kuala Muda coast IBA with only a few, probably less than ten at this IBA.
