The Little Ringed Plover (Charadrius dubius) is a small, delicate shorebird known for its bright yellow eye-ring, black bill, pale legs or flesh-colored legs (unlike the orange legs of the Common Ringed Plover) and distinctive black and white head pattern.

Fairly common but in small numbers and in small flocks in Seberang Perai, prefers fresh water habitat, like paddy field. marshland, drained inland fishponds.
